Description
Pokémon Fan Appreciation Tournament 1st-Place Winner Trophy (Wizards of the Coast, 2003). In 2013, Wizard of the Coast (WOTC) hosted its final event for its Pokémon fans; one last thank you, the Fan Appreciation Tournament. Held at the 2003 Gen Con in Indianapolis, the tournament was full of spectacular prizes as WOTC was preparing to turn over its licensing to produce the Pokémon TCG internationally to what would become The Pokémon Company International. The award featured here is the trophy awarded to the 1st-place winner of the tournament, the only copy of the trophy produced. The award stands nearly 11" tall. The wooden base has some minor handling wear, with the label having some scratching.Auction Info
