Description

Captain America Comics #29 (Timely, 1943) CGC FN 6.0 Cream to off-white pages. This Alex Schomburg cover not only offers all-out action, it's one of the few Golden Age covers we've seen to depict that "other" red, white, and blue flag, namely the tricolore of France! Luckily, Cap and Bucky rescue some Free French just in time. In addition to Cap's adventures, there's a Human Torch 7-pager here. C'est magnifique! Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $777. CGC census 4/06: 1 in 6.0, 7 higher.
