Holy Pop Report, Batman!
Batman - Wata 9.8 A+ Sealed [Oval SOQ TM], NES Sunsoft 1990
USA. Looking at the November pop report from this year, our
jaws dropped when we saw only two other copies have managed to
receive the enviable Wata 9.8 grade. Further, the number of sealed
copies Wata has graded are scarce enough as it is. Wata only shows
29 sealed copies of this game in sealed condition on their November
2021 population report. Stunning scarcity aside, this game's claim
to significance is that it's the first Batman video game produced
for a home console. That's right, Spider-Man and Superman appeared
on a previous system--the Atari 2600--but not Batman! The cover art
is by Anton Furst, who headed up the design team for Gotham City in
the aforementioned Tim Burton movie.Wata Population Report
