Description

The Little Mermaid Flounder Animation Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1989). The Little Mermaid is the last Disney feature film to use the traditional hand-painted cel method of animation. Before cels are painted however, a clean drawing and a rough sketch has to be created. Offered in this lot are four amazing rough animation sketches of Ariel's best friend who happens to be a tropical fish even-though his name is Flounder. Flounder measures approximately 4.5" x 5", rendered in blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Each piece is noted in the bottom right corners as numbers F-1, F-13, F-19, and F-17. The animator's timing sheet notations appear along the right side of numbers F-1, F-13, and F-19. Normal production handling with edge wear along the top of F-1. Condition is Very Good.
