Cocoa Puffs Sonny Commercial Production Cel (General Mills, c. 1980). Here is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel featuring Sonny the Cuckoo Bird from a classic animated cereal commercial for General Mills' Cocoa Puffs. A rare cel featuring a hand-cut cereal box image, this piece was once sold at an ASIFA (International Animated Film Society) fundraising sale in Hollywood. It depicts a large hand-painted image on 12 field cels, framed under glass with a mat window size of 10" x 9" and an overall frame size of 16" x 15". Frame is sold as-is. An official ASIFA Certificate of Authenticity is mounted to the back of the frame. Minor handling with a staple/tape in the lower left corner, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
