Description
The Jetsons Elroy and Astro Production Cel and Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1980s). Outstanding production cel of Elroy Jetson and his dog Astro. This is a two-cel setup, with Elroy and Astro wearing their Captain Zoom costumes. When The Jetsons returned for Season Two in 1985, Elroy imagined himself to be a superhero called Captain Zoom. The cels are hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a master background. The background was hand-painted in gouache on 12 field background board. Edge wear with tape in the borders.
