Description

Good Housekeeping "Three Little Wolves" Preliminary Illustration (Walt Disney, 1935). The Big Bad Wolf is about to make a feast out of two of the three little pigs in this sensational preliminary illustration from Good Housekeeping. The drawing, attributed to Tom Wood, has the Big Bad Wolf greasing up Fifer and Fiddler Pig while the hungry wolf still wears the undergarments from his deceiving costume. Done in graphite and red pencil on 12-field 5-peghole animation drawing, the illustration measures an image size of 6.25" x 5.25" and is attributed to Tom Wood. Included is a copy of the original page, released in October 1935. The final illustration has one of the Three Little Wolves greasing the pigs instead of his dad, making this preliminary illustration a fantastic treat of exclusive artwork! The drawing has many pinholes near the bottom left corner and a faint fold in the middle. With light age-related toning and minor handling wear, the lot is in Very Good condition.
