George Wilson (attributed) Ripley's Believe It or Not! #55 Cover Painting Original Art (Gold Key, 1975). This painting for the anchor story ""When the Laughter Stopped" ran with the cover text of "They Filled the Ancient House with Sounds of Tormented Laughter!" We aren't sure what 'tormented laughter' sounds like, but it sure looks spooky! Created in gouache on illustration board with an image area of 11" x 16".
