Description

Rugrats Opening Title Sequence Phil and Lil DeVille Original Production Cel Signed by Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó (Nickelodeon, 1991). These iconic babies are back in this beautifully made hand-painted cel. It shows the twins Phil and Lil DeVille playing on a desk as a cat robot walks towards the camera. This scene can be found around the 20 second mark of the show's opening. A sticker labeling it as original sits in the bottom left corner next to Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó's signatures. The amazing opening for the show was animated by the talented Peter Chung, who also worked on Æon Flux. The theme was composed by accomplished musician Mark Mothersbaugh, also known for his scores on all West Anderson films. The Rugrats opening title sequence is creative, fun, and eye catching to anyone who watches it and still memorable for many to this day. Phil and Lil measure roughly 2.5'' - 2.75'' and the cat measures around 2.25'' on this 18'' x 16' matte. The 12 field cel is displayed in a 11.75'' x 9.5'' window. Very Good condition with minor wear from studio handling and a little visible tape.
