Description
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Production Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1988-1991). From the Emmy Award-winning animated show The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, we have in this lot a magnificent hand-painted production cel featuring an utterly endearing image of Pooh and his best friend Piglet. This wonderful show aired with 50 episodes from January 17 to April 10, 1988, and besides its Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program, it won two Humanitas Prizes. Featuring an incredible joint image size of 6.5" x 8", this wonderful cel shows the two iconic inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood in full figure. The cel is displayed on a printed background, and it bears a Walt Disney Company stamp in the bottom left area. This lot is offered on a 19.5" x 17" Plexiglas-fronted frame with an 11" x 9" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. With minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
