Description
The Prince and the Pauper Mickey Mouse Rare Publicity Drawing by Disney Legend Andreas Deja (Walt Disney, 1990). Disney's The Prince and the Pauper cast Mickey as both the Prince and the Pauper, and both appear in the detailed publicity drawing in this lot created by Disney Legend Andreas Deja. Deja was supervising animator for both Mickey and the princely version of him in the featurette, along with many other beloved Disney characters. The approximately 4.75'' x 4.5'' graphite with color pencil drawing was created for publicity use to promote the film and the completed version of it appears in a Modern Maturity article Deja was a part of about the state of animation at the end of 1990 going into 1991 as well as a collectors stamp panel. A print of the illustration in one of the stamp panel pages has been included in the lot for reference. The 12 field animation paper includes Walt Disney Pictures text at the bottom edge and is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear.From the Disney Legend Inductee Andreas Deja Collection.
