Bartok the Magnificent Original Key Master Background by David Rabbitte (Don Bluth, 1999). Here's a superb original background from Don Bluth's animated film, about an albino circus bat in Russia, who tries to save a prince from the evil Baba Yaga. This gorgeous painting is attributed to David Rabbitte. He's a background painter known for his film work on Anastasia (1997), and Titan A.E. (2000). This amazingly detailed painting was rendered in gouache on 17.5" x 12" illustration board. The piece is matted to 22" x 16" with a matboard aperture of 14.5" x 9.5".
