Mickey's Rival Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1936). "Let go!" "No!" Minnie's been chased up a tree by a runaway bull, but Mickey's attempts to "save" her wind up with both falling toward the ground in this original sequence of four 12 field animation drawings; thank goodness Mickey's car was there to catch them! Mickey's Rival, all about Minnie's old beau Mortimer disrupting Mickey's picnic, was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released to theaters on 6/20/1936. This sequence of Mickey trying to pull a frightened Minnie off a tree limb starts at about the 7:36 timestamp and ends at 7:38. The art is in graphite and red pencil with image sizes that average 10" x 6.5". The pages are numbered in the lower right corner as 11, 32, 51, and 64A. The drawings are in Very Good condition with minor handling, slight edge wear, and mild age-related paper toning.
