Description
The Pink Panther "The Heart of Pinkness" Pink Panther Production Cel Setup on "Pantherobics" 37.5'' Master Background (MGM, 1993). Pinky takes on the role of a boat captain and body builder in these hilarious episodes from the 1993 series! The two originally aired on 11/9/93 and 10/4/93 respectively, following Pinky as he manned a trade ship and tried to beat the Beefy Barbarians in competition. The full figure production cel can be found at about 1:52 in "The Heart of Pinkness" as Pinky rushes towards his sinking boat and pumps out the water. The stunning gouache, color pencil, and airbrush production background, rendered on background board, can be found at roughly 0:18 in "Pantherobics" while Pinky waits to see who has made the cut in the auditions. Pinky measures about 4.5'' x 4.5'' and is noted 19 with a FFE seal in the lower right. The detailed background is about 37.5'' x 10.5'', capturing most of the audition room with a sign for the auditions at the far right! This setup is perfect for Pink Panther fans, regardless if you're a fan of the original theatrical releases or this more modern masterpiece celebrating its 30th anniversary.
