Description
The Pink Panther Production Cel Setup with "Pink, Pink and Away" Master 31.5'' Pan Production Background (MGM, c. 1993-96/1993). Presented in this lot is a beautiful 12 field production cel and Master pan production background from the 1993 series The Pink Panther. The series consisted of two seasons and ran from 1993 to 1996, expanding the Pink Panther universe with even more characters and shenanigans. Pinky is full figure in the hand-painted cel and is presented on a huge 29.75'' x 9.5'' Master production background from "Pink, Pink and Away". The episode was the first to air on 9/12/1993 and followed Pinky as he took on the role of Super Pink. It can be found early in the episode at roughly 1:07 as Pinky scans the shop window for something to wear, passing on the astronaut suit and cowboy attire for the stylish pink hero suit. The background is rendered on a 31.5'' x 10.5'' background board while Pinky measures about 3'' x 6'' with a FFE seal in the lower left. Very Good condition overall for this wonderful setup from the start of this memorable series with minor edge and handling wear, faint scuffing, and minor wear to the linework.Auction Info
