Description
The Pink Panther "The Heart of Pinkness" Charlie the Ant and "Down on the Antfarm" Blue Aardvark Production Cel Setup with "Department Store Pinker-ton" 22.75'' Pan Production Background (MGM, 1993). Featured in this lot is an incredible 2-layer 12 field production cel setup of the Ant and Blue Aardvark and an amazing pan production background from The Pink Panther. Both the Ant and the Aardvark are full figure, measuring roughly 1.5'' x 3'' and 5.5'' x 7.25''. The Ant can be found at about 1:34 in Season 1 Episode 32 "The Heart of Pinkness" and the Blue Aardvark appears at roughly 5:17 in the second half of Season 1 Episode 1 airing on 9/13/1993. The beautiful hand-painted gouache and conté crayon production background can be found at about 0:20 in the second half of Season 1 Episode 5, airing on 9/14/93, and shows the locker room for the security officers at the department store. The background is large, measuring about 22.75'' x 10.75'' with great detail. The background is noted 2 and the cels are marked A63 and A24. The cels also include a Pink Panther seal. Very Good condition overall for this amazing group of Pink Panther history with minor edge and handling wear and minor chipping of the ant.Auction Info
