Description
The Aristocats Tolouse Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1970). "Anyone for breakfast?" "What breakfast?" "Where is it?" Included in this lot is a rare full figure 16 field production cel of Toulouse, one of Duchess' children from The Aristocats. Toulouse was voiced by Gary Dubin and his scenes were primarily animated by Disney Legends and two of Disney's "Nine Old Men" Ollie Johnston and Eric Larson. The 2.75'' x 4'' cel was created for near 36:55 as the kittens, Duchess, and O'Malley ride in the back of the truck. O'Malley asks the kids if they are ready for breakfast, prepared to have them close their eyes and make a show of pulling off the "magic carpet" to a huge bucket of cream. We don't often see large full figure cels of the kittens and this one is sure to bring back memories of the characters' ride though the French countryside and their journey back to their precious Madame Bonfamille. Toulouse is displayed in a 13'' x 10'' mat window on a print background and a 20'' x 17'' glass-fronted frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
