Slayers Try Group Shot Publicity Cel (E&G Films, 1998). Lina Inverse and her group of friends find themselves in a new world previously inaccessible due to demon forces that kept it closed to the exterior. Now, hired by the mysterious Filia Ul Copt, the group will try to prevent the fulfillment of the prophecy that predicts the end of this new world. In this lot we have an extraordinary hanken cel featuring Rina Inverse and a fantastic group of characters from Slayers Try. A hanken cel is a rare kind of cel used for posters, calendars, or many types of covers, done by experienced members of the animation crew. This particular cel was used in the cover for Slayers Try Special Collection #3, a comprehensive guide to the hilarious season of the beloved anime series. Featuring Filia Ul Copt, the cel also displays a fabulous image of the lovely Lina Inverse, the evil Valgaav and his minions, Jillas the fox-man, and Gravos. This remarkable group of expressive characters shown in fantastic poses measures a shared image size of 13.75" x 18.75" on the astonishing hand-painted hanken cel. Included is a printed copy of the final product. The cel shows very faint surface scratches that don't affect the art, and it's taped to a white paper on the back and a clear cel on top for protection. The cel is in Fine condition.
