Description
Charlotte's Web Fern and Wilbur Production Cel Setup with Speed Buggy Production Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). "I don't know how to say the things I'm thinking of, but the 'something more' I'm feeling must be love." From the 1973 animated classic Charlotte's Web, this is a charming hand-painted original production cel setup featuring Fern and Wilbur. Showcasing excellent, large images of the characters, this piece is composed of two cels. One depicts Fern from the 8:02 mark of the film during the musical number "There Must Be Something More". The second features Wilbur from the 1:21:58 mark, during Charlotte's emotional final scene. The setup is displayed on an original production background from the Hanna-Barbera series Speed Buggy, featured in the episode "Out of Sight." The background is rendered in gouache on board. The 12 field setup shows minor handling and edge wear with some fading in the linework and light surface scuffing/debris. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
