Description

The Prince and the Pauper Background Color Key Painting Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1990). A superb pair of background color keys from Walt Disney's The Prince and the Pauper. The animated short film was inspired by Mark Twain's story of the same name and stars Mickey Mouse, voiced by Disney Legend Wayne Allwine. In visual arts, color keys are created to understand how light works from pre-production to post. For example, they show how the color changes from day to night, above water or underwater, in full light or a shadow. These gorgeous color keys depict the Weasel Guard's hideout and the prince's castle. The keys measure 4.5" x 9.5" and 4" x 4". The smaller color key is in a hand-crafted 6" x 7" mat with "Seq 2" written on the matboard. The paintings are in Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear from production use.
