Description

Lilo and Stitch Lilo Rough Animation Drawing Group of 18 Attributed to Andreas Deja (Walt Disney, 2002). Lilo hits the waves with her sister Nani and her new friend Stitch as the three surf together in this scene from the 2002 Walt Disney feature film Lilo and Stitch. This scene can be found at about the 49:19 mark of the film. These rough drawings are believed to have been created by Andreas Deja, Disney Legend Inductee and prolific Disney animator. They are rendered in blue pencil on 17" x 12.5" animation paper. A large chunk of the scene is represented in this group, with the drawings being numbered L1, L-82, L-84, L-86, L-88, L-90, L-92, L-94, L-96, L-98, L-100, L-102, L-104, L-106, L-108, L-110, L-112, and L-113. The movement captured by the sequence of drawings is wonderful! As this film was created digitally, physical parts of the production process like these rough drawings are hard to find and quite special. The pieces are in Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, including some scuffing on the edges of the paper, far from the images, and a few torn pegholes.

More Information: EDIT: Added "Attributed to" to short description (headline) and added "believed to have been created by" to mian description
