Description
Peter Pan Michael and Teddy Bear Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). Presented in this lot is a fantastic hand-painted and hand-inked production cel from Peter Pan, featuring a great, adorable image of Michael Darling running while carrying his Teddy bear. Created to appear at the 34:32 timestamp of this beloved animated Disney classic, as Michael runs to warn everyone about the incoming Indians. Michael was famously voiced by Tommy Luske (1947-1990), the son of Hamilton Luske, and had its animation supervised by Ward Kimball. The trimmed 16-field cel, numbered 42 in the bottom right corner, features the profile image of the rushing character in full figure, measuring 3.5" x 4.5", displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Faint paint wear can be seen on Michael's linework. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
