Description
Cinderella Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1950). "After all, I suppose it would be frightfully dull, and, and boring, and completely... completely wonderful." Cinderella tried her best, but she wasn't able to complete all of her chores and finish making her dress before the Prince's anticipated ball. Wistfully watching the castle in the distance, Cinderella is centered in this lovely 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing from the beloved Disney animated feature Cinderella. You can find the graphite with color pencil drawing at about 39:44 as Cinderella tries and fails to convince herself that she doesn't need to attend the ball, though her night is saved moments later when the mice reveal they've fixed up her mother's dress while Lady Tremaine and her stepsisters kept her busy with new chores. The drawing measures about 2.5'' x 4.25'' and is centered on the animation paper, numbered 159 in the lower right corner of the page. The lot is in Very Good condition with only light edge and handling wear and faint age-related toning. From the Disney Legend Manuel Gonzalez Archive.
