Description

Alice in Wonderland Studio-Used Model Prints Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1951). Longtime Disney animation artist Tom Codrick (1901 - 1969) did layout drawings for Disney's animated adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice stories Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. From Mr. Codrick's personal archives come these three rare studio-used model sheets, all printed in photographic paper. Two sheets focus of Alice, specifically her face in one and in various poses in the other. These sheets each measure 13.75" x 11". The third sheet is unmarked print of a pan layout/design drawing of all primary film characters measuring 46" x 10" (sizes are approximate). The use of model sheets is an important facet of the animation process, enabled many artists to create consistent images. All three model sheet prints are tightly rolled, and have handling wear including creases and edge wear. Fair condition.
