Description
So Dear to My Heart Owl and Lamb Production Cels (Walt Disney, 1949). A pair of production cels from Walt Disney's feature film, So Dear to My Heart. The film combines animation and live action with Disney Legend Hamilton Luske directing the animated segments. So Dear to My Heart featured a "who's who" of animation on the production team - Mary Blair did the concept treatments, Les Clark, Bill Justice, Hal King, Eric Larson, and John Lounsbery did the animation. These RARE production cels are hand-inked and hand-painted on 16 field acetate. The cels are trimmed to 11" x 10" and 10" x 8". Great images of the wise owl and Danny the lamb! Matted to 18" x 19" in a triple aperture matboard. The aperture for the owl is 6" x 8", the lamb is 5" x 5". The third opening contains a copy from a magazine or newsletter featuring the two characters. Cels are presented in Very Good condition.Auction Info
