Description
"The First Cent of Uncle Scrooge" Group of 2 Gold-Plated and 2 Silver Limited Edition Coins in Cases (Walt Disney/Italian Government Printing Office and Mint, 1995). These four small commemorative coins won't fill a massive Money Bin, but each one has the likeness of Uncle Scrooge McDuck on the obverse! Two of these are gold-plated bronze in green-flocked slipcases, with edition numbers of 0294 and 0860. The other two coins in this group are silver in red-flocked slipcases, numbered 0507 and 2664, all with Certificates of Authenticity. These non-legal tender coins are smaller than a US dime, about .625" wide. The flocked slipcases are also in paper sleeves, and measure approximately 7" x 7.25". All four coins are proof-struck in plastic holders and are in Mint condition; the sleeves and slipcases are in about Very Good condition; one of the silver coin paper sleeves and COAs have been stained, and the paper sleeve to a gold-plated coin has some brown paper residue, but the flocked slipcases and coins are unaffected.Auction Info
