Description
Loopy De Loop Production Cel and Production Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1959-65). A self-appointed good Samaritan, Loopy is a gentleman wolf who mangles the English language in his quest to speak in a French-Canadian accent. He valiantly fights to clear the bad name of wolves and would open every episode with his trademark introduction "I am Loopy De Loop, the good wolf." Here's a terrific production cel setup featuring the "good wolf," hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a 12 field hand-painted production background. The background is painted in gouache, and it comes from a 1990s Pink Panther episode. The setup is matted to 14.5" x 11" with a matboard aperture of 10" x 7.5". Loopy measures about 5.5" in this great piece. Mild edge wear. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
