Description
Naruto "Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!" Zabuza Momochi Rough Animation Drawing Sequence of 20 with Studio Printed Layout (Pierrot, 2002). "W-What that's... me?!" "Water style! Gaint Vortex Jutsu!" Zabuza is taken along for a watery ride in this outstanding sequence of 19 original rough animation drawings (or genga) with hand-drawn and studio-printed layout pair from "Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!", the ninth episode of Naruto. Airing on November 28, 2002 less than two months after the premiere of the smash hit series, this episode follows Team 7 and the bridge builder Tazuna continue their unexpected battle with the rogue ninja Zabuza Momochi who had ambushed them in the previous episodes. Trapped in the power of Kakashi's Sharingan, Zabuza attempts to fight against the powerful waves beginning near the 13:31 timestamp though he is met with little success. He has been rendered loosely in graphite and colored pencil to overall image areas ranging from 5.5" x 6.25" to a fantastically frame-filling 12.25" x 10.5" across the incredible 12 field sequence of 19 drawings which are numbered A1 - A18 with an extra bubble-only drawing accompanying A-12. Also included is a hand-drawn and studio printed 12 field layout pair for the scene. Naruto was digitally colored meaning no production cels were used in the creation of this series; animation drawings like these are some of the only physical production artwork so don't miss out! With typical handling and edge wear including minor corner/edge fold and tears, slight surface wear, and replaced pegholes to the print layout, overall this grand sequence is in Good condition.More information about Pierrot.
