Description
Don's Fountain of Youth Huey, Louie, Dewey, and Donald Duck Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). "Oh, no. Not That. Come on, boys. Let's scram." From the 1953 animated short Don's Fountain of Youth, we have in this lot a hand-painted and hand-inked production cel featuring Donald Duck and his nephews, Huey, Louie, and Dewey. The Jack Hannah-directed cartoon had Donald Duck trying to play a prank on his nephews by making them think that a fake fountain of youth reversed his age until a family of alligators shows up. This great image of the four characters can be spotted towards the end of the short at the 5:51 mark, as Donald hurries to escape the alligators, with the four characters sharing an overall image size of 6.5" x 4.25". The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. The cel has slightly adhered to the background. Overall, in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
