Description
The End of Evangelion Asuka Langley Soryu Production Cel (Gainax, 1997). "I'll kill you..." Curled over in agony, Asuka holds her face after the Eva 02 gets pierced by the Mass Production Evas. From The End of Evangelion, we have in this lot a great hand-painted production cel with one of the most poignant images from the movie, seen at the 39:45 mark. Still synchronized with the Eva, Asuka felt through the neural connection the pain as the replica of the Lance of Longinus punctured through the mech in a scene that many fans remember as a stirring turn of events after it seemed that Asuka was about to win the fight against the Mass Production Evas. Numbered A6 in the top right corner, this production cel has Asuka measuring 10.25" x 7.75" on the 12-field production cel. Showing light fading on the linework and minor handling wear from production. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
