Description

Hunter x Hunter Episode 17 Killua Zoldyck and Tonpa Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background and Animation Drawing Group of 6 (Nippon Animation, 2000). It might look like Tonpa, also known as "Rookie Crusher," is securely chained to the wall, but the sharp Kurapika is aware of the swindler's schemes. From the acclaimed anime series Hunter x Hunter, we have a spectacular hand-painted production cel setup with Killua and Tonpa, seen at the 12:27 mark of Episode 17 of the 2001 series. Killua measures an image size of 5.5" x 7.75" with the chained Tonpa measuring 5" x 8", featured on the Key Master background seen in the shot. This fantastic lot includes three animation drawings of Killua, two drawings of Tonpa, a layout drawing of the scene, a correction drawing, and a production used photocopy of the layout drawing. The drawings are all rendered in graphite with colored pencil details and notes. Included with the lot is an exposure sheet from production. Light surface scuffings can be seen on the production cel setup not affecting the art, some fading is present in the linework, and both layers have adhered together. The animation and layout drawings show light handling wear, with the photocopy stapled to the back of the correction drawing. Generally, the lot shows light handling and edgewear from production. In Very Good condition.
