Description

Oil Spot and Lipstick Early Computer-Generated Print Group of 2 with Roy Disney Autograph (Walt Disney, 1987). Offered in this lot is a print from the earliest Disney computer-generated short, Oil Spot and Lipstick, accompanied by a mat signed by Roy E. Disney (1930 - 2009), Walt's nephew and a pivotal figure in the company's history, an instrumental figure in revitalizing Disney animation during the late 20th century. Oil Spot and Lipstick told the story of a mechanical junk yard dog, has to save his junk-made girlfriend Lipstick from a junk monster. This short was created by a group of Disney animators, known as the "Disney Computer Animation Late Night Group," on their own time after work. The two prints show the lovely couple and the mechanical monster, measuring 5" x 3.5", and featured on a 17" x 11.5" mat that proudly showcases Roy's signature on the bottom right area. Mat is sold as-is. With minor handling and edge wear, the lot is in Very Good to Fine condition.
