Description
Pinocchio Movie Premier Print Portfolio, Brochure, and Pair of Puppet Model Photos (Walt Disney, 1940). Presented in this lot is a collection of ephemera from Walt Disney's famous second animated feature film, Pinocchio. Included is the rare portfolio originally sold at the New York Center Theater for the movie's premiere on February 7, 1940, featuring four 15" x 13" dye transfer prints, each with an image area of 10" x 8", accompanied by the original 15.25" x 13.5" folder and the 9" x 12" brochure. Also included are two 4.75" x 6.75" black-and-white photos showing different angles of a Pinocchio model puppet, both mounted on an 11.25" x 7.25" board. The folder shows some minor tears along the edges and is in Fair to Good condition. The prints, brochure, and photos show mild handling and edge wear and are in Very Good condition.Auction Info
