Description
Disney Mickey Mouse and Friends Stamp Book Cover with Preliminary Art Group of 4 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Postage stamps with Disney characters and designs have been created for countries all over the world. With a Disney theme park now in Shanghai, it's natural that stamps in China would have such images, which they have many times over the past 30 years. Here is an original stamp book cover artwork of Mickey Mouse and all the "Fab Five" gang traveling together by car, in both a preliminary graphite and blue pencil version (with added detail) and the final inked version, with an approximate image size of 5.5" x 5.75"; it's on paper measuring 9" x 11.75", and marked COVER in the lower right corner. The preliminary is on onionskin paper measuring 9" x 12". Two preliminary drawings of China stamp designs featuring Goofy are also included; these are both in graphite and blue pencil on white 11" x 8.5" parchment paper, with image sizes of 7.25" x 4.75".
