Dragon Ball Z Gohan Production Cel with Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, c. 1989-96). After his arduous training preparing for the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa, Gohan grew a bond with Piccolo, regarding the Namekian as his mentor and friend. During the Namek saga of Dragon Ball Z, Gohan made an outfit to resemble his teacher, after the original one was destroyed when he transformed into his Great Ape form while fighting Vegeta. We have in this lot a phenomenal image of a surprised Gohan wearing his purple outfit, measuring a great image size of 5.5" x 6.75" hand-painted on the pan-sized production cel, numbered B2 on the top edge. The lot also includes the matching animation drawing of Gohan, rendered in graphite with colored pencil details on 13.5" x 9.25" animation paper. The cel shows some fading on the linework, and the animation drawing shows traces of paint from the cel. The lot shows light handling wear from production. In Very Good condition.
