Dragon Ball Z Goku Production Cel with Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, c. 1989-96). A serious-looking Goku is featured in this lot that showcases a production cel and its matching animation drawing from the famous anime series Dragon Ball Z. Created by the renowned manga artist Akira Toriyama as a follow-up to Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z continues to expand on the wonderful universe set by its predecessor, taking Goku to new heights and pushing the boundaries of his fighting skills. This magnificent image of Goku's profile has the character measuring a figure size of 6.75" x 7.75" on the 12-field production cel numbered A6 in the top right corner, as well as in the matching animation drawing that renders the stoic Goku in graphite with colored pencil details, emphasizing the planning for the dramatic shading of the character. The production cel has adhered to the back of the animation drawing, and it presents fading on the linework.
