Mighty Mouse soars through the sky in this jaw-dropping sequence of a whopping 19 hand-painted original production cels from Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures. Though a children's cartoon, its heavy satirical tone, risqué humor, and adult jokes made Bakshi's Mighty Mouse series popular among older fans of the Terrytoons classic. An incredibly rare sequence, this piece bears the signature of showrunner and legendary animator Ralph Bakshi on one of the cels (it appears faintly in a lower layer of the setup). The sequence is displayed in an 18" x 14" mat with a window size of 11.25" x 8.5". Minor handling and edge wear with light surface scuffing, and the condition of this substantial set of 19 is Very Good.Auction Info
