Pokémon Misty Production Cel Setup with Production Background and Animation Drawing (OLM, c. 1997-2002). "Go, Psyduck! Youngest sister of the Cerulean Gym Leaders, Misty is looking determined in this original production cel setup with matching animation drawing from the iconic and beloved Pokémon series. One of Ash's first adventuring companions in the series, the water-type trainer was voiced in English by Rachael Lillis (1978 - 2024) through the 2006 season. Featuring a stunning closeup of Misty looking ready for battle, the young hero has been hand-painted to a frame-filling character size of 8" x 8.25" on the 12 field cel. The setup is paired with a hand-painted production background, possibly from the series, rendered in gouache on board trimmed to an overall size of 14.25" x 10" and numbered 186 in the upper right. The accompanying drawing has been rendered in graphite and colored pencil to a similar character size on 12 field animation paper; both the cel and drawing are numbered A3 in the upper right. With typical handling and edge wear including minor surface wear to the drawing, pinholes at the background's corners, and minor linework fading, overall this impassioned pair is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
