Harrison Ellenshaw "Sydney Creeper" Original Acrylic on 8.5" x 11.5" Canvas (c. 1990s). The remarkable artistic skills of Harrison Ellenshaw are at full display in this original painting by the celebrated visual effects artist and renowned matte painter. Harrison's career as a matte painter began at Walt Disney Studios, later joining Industrial Light and Magic, where he participated in the momentous films Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. At Disney, Harrison worked on the visual effects of the sunning films The Black Hole and Tron. Demonstrating his striking proficiency in rendering texture and lighting, this original painting shows a creeper plant on a stone wall, created in acrylic on a 9.5" x 12.5" stretched canvas, signed in the bottom left corner.
