Description
Puppy Love Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). Disney's most enduring and endearing couple sit side-by-side at the piano, in this original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing. Theirs is one of the greatest love stories in the history of animation and still going strong after over 90 years! This Disney duo made their theatrical debut in seminal animated talkie, Steamboat Willie way back in 1929. Puppy Love was directed by Wilfred Jackson, which was released on 9/2/1933 and can see this image at about the 5:22 mark in the short. The art is in graphite, with a combined image area of 4" x 4" and the number 96 noted in the lower right corner. Very minor edge wear and light paper toning along the outer borders.
