Description

Touché, Pussycat Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy Layout Drawings Group of 2 (MGM, 1954). Presented here is a pair of amazing layout drawings from arguably one of the most popular Tom and Jerry cartoons ever, Touché, Pussycat. Nominated for an Academy Award, this was a follow-up to the Two Mousketeers and featured the ultra-adorable Tuffy (aka Nibbles). These two beautifully rendered graphite drawings are the work of layout artist Richard Bickenbach (1907 - 1994). Mr. Bickenbach worked for MGM, Walter Lantz Studios and Hanna-Barbera where he is credited with creating the very first Yogi Bear model sheet. Both drawings are separate frames. Tom and Jerry are in an 18" x 16" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 10" and Tuffy is in 17" x 15.5" frame. Condition for the lot is Very Good and the frames are sold as-is.
