Description
Todd McFarlane's Spawn "Hunter's Moon" Spawn and Lilly Production Cel and Animation Drawing Group of 2 (HBO, 1999). "I'm just like you. They made me into a monster, too." Lilly opens up to Spawn in this stunning hand-painted production cel from the acclaimed animated series, Todd McFarlane's Spawn. The main antagonist in the episode "Hunter's Moon," Lilly is a vampire sent to kill Spawn in exchange for redemption. Offering a fascinating contrast between these two characters, the two-layer 12-field cel shows up at about the 22:02 timestamp, displaying an overall image size of 10.5" x 8". Included are the matching animation drawings showing Spawn and Lilly rendered in graphite and color pencils. The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Some paint residue is visible on the animation drawings, and Spawn's drawing has a small fold crease on the bottom left corner. The cel layers have adhered together, and it has the printed background stuck to its back. Light fading can be seen on the cel's linework. In overall Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.From the Spawn writer John Leekley Collection.
