Description

Ernesto Garcia - The Lone Ranger "El Rancho Misterioso" Illustration Original Art, Group of 39 (Editorial Acme, 1966). The Argentinian version of this Lone Ranger story, "The Mystery Ranch," (originally published in 1938), was finely illustrated by Ernesto Garcia, with an exquisite line, full of texture and detail. With his magnificent horse, Silver, and his faithful Indian, Tonto, the Lone Ranger single-handedly snatches helpless victims from the clutches of a band of murderous thieves and tracks them to their secret hideout, finally to unmask the clever disguise of their mysterious leader. The image area of the art ranges from 6.5" x 3.5" to 7" x 10". There is a paper clip stain along the top portion of many of the illustrations, only entering into the image area on a couple of the pieces, otherwise the art averages in Very Good condition. Includes a copy of El Rancho Misterioso.
