Andy Panda Goes Fishing Layout/Publicity Drawing (Walter Lantz, 1940). Andy Panda was an early superstar for Walter Lantz cartoons. This is an outstanding and very rare studio layout/publicity drawing of Andy Panda with Rochester Turtle. This is from only his second cartoon, which was co-directed by Burt Gillett and Alex Lovy. It was released on 1/22/40. Detailed graphite art on 2-peg 12 field animation sheet, with nice image sizes of 3" - 8". The number 8 is written in the top right corner, with #9 scratched out. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
