Description
The Great Mouse Detective Dawson Animator's Model Sheet Original Art (Walt Disney, 1986). "Basil, you astound me!" Disney's 26th animated feature was a sly take on Sherlock Holmes, the legendary fictional English sleuth, told with mice characters. In the film, Dawson is "Dr. Watson" to Basil of Baker Street's Holmes. Here's an original 12 field animation sheet filled with 12 rough images of Dawson's face as he says "Do - do you think there's a chance?" after the disappearance of Olivia causes Basil to exclaim, "We'll get her back." The art is in graphite; individual image sizes average 2.5" x 2.5". Condition is Good, with handling and edge wear.Auction Info
