Donald Duck Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, c. 1980/90s). Here is a terrific production cel and matching drawing of the hot-headed Donald Duck. Donald made his animated debut in the 1934 Walt Disney theatrical short The Wise Little Hen, as a mischievous sailor with an unintelligible voice. According to the 1942 cartoon, Donald Gets Drafted, Donald's full name is Donald Fauntleroy Duck. An apparent reference to his sailor hat. This fantastic image was hand-painted on 12 field acetate. It's a large image of 6.75" x 9". Included is the matching drawing, rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper and noted as 131 in the bottom right.
