Description

The Hockey Champ Donald Duck and Louie Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1939).
Pair of original 12 field, 5-peghole animation drawings from this classic Jack King-directed short, first shown in theaters on 4/28/39. The first shows Donald Duck as he is telling Huey, Dewey, and Louis about his hockey championship. This is a great full-figure graphite and color pencil image measuring 5.5" tall. The second shows Louie, one of Donald's three nephews, looking very interested in Uncle Donald's story; rendered in graphite and green pencil with an image size of 5" x 3.5", including his hockey stick. The drawings are noted as C-66 and A-118 and can be seen around the 01:43 and 02:18 time mark. Some minor edge wear and light handling. Very Good condition.
