Description
Alpine Climbers Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). Up in the Swiss Alps, Mickey Mouse tangles with a mother eagle, Donald Duck scraps with an edelweiss-stealing goat and Pluto gets inebriated with a St. Bernard. In this piece we see Mickey Mouse as he eyes the eagle egg, freshly plucked from the nest -- better watch out for that mama eagle, Mickey! This is an original 12 field, 5-peghole animation drawing from the Dave Hand-directed short, which co-starred Donald Duck and Goofy. Mickey is voiced by Walt Disney himself with original Donald Duck voice actor, Clarence Nash once again providing the voice for Donald. The artwork was drawn in graphite with blue pencil accents on the egg. Mickey stands about 4" tall with the number 19 written in the lower right corner. Fine condition.Auction Info
