Showcase #43 Doctor No - Murphy Anderson File Copy (DC, 1963) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. Ian Fleming's James Bond movie adaptation and the first US comic book appearance of James Bond. First DC Silver Age movie adaptation, actually a reprint of the story originally published in British Classics Illustrated #158A. Overstreet notes, "This Showcase #43 version was actually censored, deleting all racial skin color and dialogue thought to be racially demeaning." Sean Connery photo frontispiece. Bob Brown cover.
