Philippe Queveau and Chic Stone Fantastic Four #38 Page 19 Re-Creation Original Art (undated). Mr. Fantastic! The Invisible Girl! The Human Torch! and the ever lovin' Thing! They are the Fantastic Four! Super-fan and comic art collector Philippe Queveau was attempting to collect all of the art for FF #38, but was missing just a few pages. So he re-created the page and had the original inker, Chic Stone, ink his work. the original classic page for the 1965 comic was penciled by Jack Kirby, but Queveau does an admirable job reproducing it with Stone's help. This re-creation page was rendered in graphite and ink on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18.75". There are whiteout art corrections and a crease in the first panel and bottom left corner. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
